Konya welcomed us with beautiful weather and calm atmosphere. This city is perfect to stay for a weekend. We spend there only one day. It's small but really interesting. It has it's own character and it's full of history. Konya was the final home of Jalāl ad-Dīn Muhammad Rūmī, whose tomb is in the city. In 1273, his followers in Konya established the Mevlevi Sufi order of Islam and became known as the Whirling Dervishes. I will definitely come back to look for them and experience their amazing religious dance that's known all over the world.
