Goodbye Party

It's good feeling to know that you have people in your life that will miss you and think about you from time to time. Friends that you will meet after one year but feel like you didn't see them just for one day. It was pleasure for me to realize that I have people like this in my life and share with them my baking addiction :)

Chocolate Chip Cookies ( slightly modified from the othersideoffifty)

2 cups minus 2 tablespoons  cake flour
1 2/3 cups  bread flour
1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1  teaspoons salt
285 g  butter (room temperature)
1 1/4 cups  brown sugar
1 cup sugar
2 large eggs
2 teaspoons natural vanilla extract
500 g milk chocolate, chopped into chunks
115 g dark chocolate, grated

1. Add flours, baking soda, baking powder and salt into a bowl.

2. Mix butter, sugar and brown sugar for about 5 minutes until mass will be smooth and light. Add eggs, vanilla and mix until they combined. Mix in the flour mix. Add chocolate and stir with a spoon.. Keep in the fridge for 24 h.

3. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 180 degrees. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a nonstick baking mat. Put the dough on baking sheet and bake for 12-14 minutes. Repeat with remaining dough, or refrigerated, for baking remaining batches the next day.
